#20 LETTER TOJAMES OBERG

Greetings from sunny Palau.

Hello, my name is Leonard Oberg, but everybody calls my Lenny.

I don’t think there is any relation. My grandfather came to the States over from Sweden and settled in Connecticut but that’s about all I know.

The first time I came here was in 1975 and I’ve been living here in Palau for the last 10 years. Most of that time I’ve been managing a dive shop (Fish ‘n Fins) but I now work for the Inoki Foundation. We are involved in growing corals artificially and then re-introducing them back into the reef. Palau’s reefs, along with many of the worlds, were hit pretty hard in the 98 “El Nino”

Mr. Inoki is a wrestler and a living legend in Japan. Most American’s know him as the wrestler who fought Mohammad Ali back in the early 70’s.

A few years ago Mr. Inoki got involved with a Japanese inventor who came up with an “electro magnetic” generator that puts out more energy than it takes in! Mr. Inoki is a very honest man who wants the generator to work so he can help third world countries obtain cheap power. He has given the inventor over $200,000.00 so far. The inventor now wants two to three million for a “world wide patent.” When I heard about this I immediately became suspicious. After only one hour on the Internet, I was able to find numerous “generators” all claiming to do the same thing. They are called “over unity” machines. I have not seen the actual “device” but it appears to work the same as all the rest. The “generator’ is connected to a 24 volt battery ands stars to spin. The Battery is recharged and disconnected, and the “generator” continues on running for about 20 minutes. Very impressive! I told Mr. Inoki that I’m not an “electronic technician” but I could probably build one using Capacitors.

I of course did not want Mr. Inoki to get scammed, but I had to be careful for him not to “lose face” so rather then attacking the “generator” I told him that it should not cost “millions” of dollars to patent it. I also told him that the Inventor would always be “very close” to perfecting the “generator” but some how it would never be quite “perfect.”

Last week I received an email saying that the “generator” was not living up to expectations and the project would probably be cancelled!

Just wanted you to know that there are a few other “debunkers” out in the world.

As an amusing side note, when Mr. Inoki was “wrestling” he once had a partner in a “tag team” and to transfer “power” to the other wrestler Mr. Inoki slapped him on the face. So for some reason this has become his trademark. Wherever Mr. Inoki goes the Japanese will line up and he goes down the line slapping them all on the face. It’s really something to see. He once told me that he was in a very exclusive restaurant in Beverly Hills and there was an elderly Japanese man and his wife there who recognized him and after his meal wanted to be “slapped’ right in the middle of the restaurant. The man went first and everybody in the restaurant stopped in amazement. Then it was the wife’s turn, Mr. Inoki said he wasn’t sure what to do because Americans wouldn’t understand. So I asked him what did he do? “Oh, I slapped her!”

Best regards,

Lenny Oberg
